Salary: up to 35,000 + Benefits

We are currently recruiting on behalf of one of the fastest-growing environmental risk management consultancies in London. Due to securing significant contracts in Essex, they are looking for a confident and experienced Legionella Risk Assessor to join their team in Basildon. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to take the next step in their career with clear progression into a Manager/Supervisor position as the team grow.

Key Duties:

• Conduct Legionella risk assessments and generate risk assessment reports with recommendations
• Create water system schematics and ensure effective management of Legionella risks
• Monitor and review water treatment programmes for compliance and efficiency
• Perform site inspections and audits to assess Legionella control measures
• Provide remediation recommendations and solutions for water systems
• Ensure compliance with Legionella regulations and guidelines (HSG 274 & ACOP L8)
• Provide training and raise awareness about Legionella control on-site with clients
• Plan, manage, and schedule own works, including risk assessments and follow-up actions
• Build strong client relationships through effective communication and service delivery

Experience Required:

• Minimum of 1+ years experience as a Legionella Risk Assessor
• Full UK driving licence
• City & Guilds in Legionella Risk Assessing or equivalent qualification
• Flexible and able to work around the Essex area
• Strong desire to develop professionally with potential for career progression into a Manager/Supervisor role

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary: 32,000 – 35,000, negotiable depending on experience
• Van or car provided + fuel card
