Location: MaidstoneSalary: £24,000 – £26,000 per annum (depending on experience)Hours: 9 AM – 5 PM, Monday to Friday Are you ready to make a significant impact in a prestigious law firm? This position offers a unique opportunity to collaborate closely with fee earners and paralegals, delivering essential support within their specialised Trusts/Tax team. • Engage with Clients: Manage client correspondence with a friendly and professional touch, ensuring excellent communication.
• Efficient Dictation: Handle audio and digital dictation to support fee earners seamlessly.
• Accurate Minute Taking: Capture and record meeting details with precision.
• First Point of Contact: Answer phones, providing knowledgeable and courteous assistance to clients and colleagues.
• Organise Files: Maintain client files meticulously, keeping everything in perfect order.
• Coordinate Appointments: Arrange and schedule client meetings, ensuring smooth and timely operations.
• Compliance Checks: Conduct AML (Anti-Money Laundering) searches
• Document Finalisation: Prepare/finalise legal documents with careful attention to detail.
• Book Rooms: Coordinate room bookings for meetings and events.

Requirements:

• Prior experience as a legal secretary (trust-specific experience not required)
• Strong initiative
• Enthusiasm for client care
• Confidence and professionalism with a personable nature
• IT savvy

Desirable Skills:

• Well-presented with excellent verbal communication
• Typing speed of 60+ WPM
• Experience in private client work
