Infrastructure Architect

Our client, a large international Broadcast and Media company, are seeking an Infrastructure Architect to join them. This role would be on a contract basis (inside IR35) working from their office in London and offers a competitive day rate on a contract running until May 2025. You will be a key contributor to the roadmap of our clients’ infrastructure designs for their specific product and customer solutions.

The Infrastructure Architect will also be responsible for:

• Gathering business and technical requirements for the solutions under consideration.
• Creation and implementation of Azure-related Infrastructure designs for central Infrastructure platforms and to support deployment of cloud based and on-premises applications/services.
• Ensuring end to end completeness of Infrastructure Technical Design, including non-functional requirements aligning with design and security standards.
• Working with implementation teams to ensure delivered solutions match customer and stakeholder requirements and any other tasks needed to ensure successful delivery towards the end customer, including documentation and handover to support.
• Acting as the subject matter expert to help plan and implement Azure based solutions.

We would welcome applicants with the following skills and experience:

• Enterprise network design & infrastructure expertise with preference towards Azure.
• Network authentication protocols expertise such as 802.1x.
• Knowledge of Microsoft SQL architecture and integration of core infrastructure technologies.
• Linux architecture knowledge & integration with Active Directory
• Can implement identity & access and privilege management across a large-scale organisation.
• VMware, Hyper-V, and other Virtualization Technologies.
