We have partnered with a Teaching Practice in Kent who are excited to welcome a new Healthcare Assistant to their friendly and enthusiastic team. With a commitment to providing high-quality primary care services to a patient population of over 13,000 patients, they offer a supportive environment where you can thrive professionally.

Position Details:

• Job Title: Healthcare Assistant
• Job Type: Part-time (24 hours p/week)
• Location: Folkestone, Kent
• Salary: 21,000 – 26,000 per annum + personal development opportunities, NHS pension, 5 weeks annual leave + bank holidays, on-site parking and much more.
• Team: Supported by 5 GP Partners, 3 salaried GPs, 2 ACPs, 4 Practice Nurses and 3 Health Care Assistants plus a large complement of PCN clinical staff and hard-working admin team.
• High QOF achievement, Good CQC rating, and Emis Web practice who are very proud of its achievements with quality patient care being their key focus.

About You:

• Qualifications: Hold the Care Certificate or NVQ equivalent.
• Experience: Experience of working in general practice and you should be able to offer a range of diagnostic and therapeutic services including phlebotomy, ECGs, 24-hour BP monitors, Dressings, injections, Diabetic Health Checks, NHS health checks & assisting with minor surgery.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, effective time management, ability to work autonomously and as a team member.
• Personal Qualities: Polite, confident, motivated, forward thinker, problem solver, high levels of integrity and loyalty, sensitive and empathetic.
