Pay rate: £12.89 – £18.00 an hour, weekly pay

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and reliable individual to join our team and support a a young Girl living with Cerebral Palsy. Our client is very sociable and enjoys part-taking in various activities both at home and in the community. Due to the nature of the client, this position is for female applicants only.

Duties

• Assist with play and entertainment, helping to choose activities after school or on weekends, such as sensory activities, reading, and playtime.
• Provide support with personal cares & Mobility.
• Support her physical wellbeing through activities such as physiotherapy.
• Administer medication as required.

Full training, handovers, and shadow shifts will be provided to all staff members.

We are looking for someone who is professional, energetic, hardworking, and confident. While previous experience working with physically disabled children or young adults is preferred, training can be provided for the right person.

As an Agency Care Assistant, you must:

• Be over the age of 18 to apply
• Have the right to work in the UK.
• Be a UK resident, we are unable to offer sp0ns0rship.
• Have a valid UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
  
• Have a minimum 6 months experience with young children.
• Have excellent communication skills and a basic knowledge of the sector
• Be able to build a strong rapport with service users who have varying needs and abilities
• Have a genuine passion working in the healthcare sector
• Be reliable and adaptable with excellent organizational skills.
• Be IT literate to include Microsoft Applications.

Experience of Peg Feed training preferred but not essential.
