This role will focus on a portfolio of sites across South London and the South East, delivering HSE assessment, incident reporting and implementing company standards across each site.
You will work a hybrid role with 3 days out on sites and 2 days either Working from Home or at a local site if you choose.
You will need a Full UK Driving Licence for this position.
The core responsibilities for the Health and Safety Advisor are:
– Ensure sites are implementing Health & Safety in line with legislation and company policy
– Check that HSE policy is being documented and reported, and any incidents are being recorded
– Provide coaching and training to site staff in the delivery of HSE best practice in line with company policy.
– Provide advice to staff on how to manage risk in a pragmatic way
The Health and Safety Advisor will:
– Ideally NEBOSH General however training support can be provided. IOSH would be beneficial
– Experience managing HSE across a portfolio of sites
– Experience within Retail or similar environments would be beneficial
– Capable on managing your own time and workload, being pro-active, and able to coach and manage staff in best practice.
