Graduate/ trainee recruitment consultant position with full training.

No sales experience needed just a strong mindset towards working hard and being successful.

The role will be made up of a base salary of between £23K and £26K plus bonus up to £4K a year, and commission (percentage of profit) You will earn a percentage of each timesheet when you have someone working on contract with a client. OTE for year 1 is £30K to £50K year 2 is £40K to £60K

They are a highly specialist international recruitment firm based in Sevenoaks, Kent. This role is 5 days in the office to have intensive one to one training and support to help you be successful in your career.

The Role

You will be hiring Contract or Perm candidates into Europe. The good news is this will most definitely involve paid for European business trips to meet clients and candidates. You are working in a professional market, a very commercial one, with endless opportunity and chances to use your business acumen to spot opportunity. They are very entrepreneurial in style and if you want to build a business, accelerate your career, pitch new ideas and build a team then this is the longer-term role for you.

Recruitment Consultant Job

Businesses don’t do all their own hiring. They don’t have the time, resource or access to the right candidate or enough people at the right time and so they often pay agencies to source them the right person and manage the interview process on their behalf. Agencies are paid very well if they find a successful person. To get to that point they need to have a lot of market knowledge, understand how to attract candidates with marketing and sales activities, approach candidates, tell them about the role and sell the benefits of the position to the candidate, present the candidate to the client, secure an interview for the candidate and manage the various interview processes. If the client wants to offer the candidate they do this too. As they go along they provide advice, guidance and consultation to clients and candidates. They also need to influence both sides and negotiate and things are never a 100% match or the money doesn’t marry up perfectly that people want. It is a very varied role involving consultation, marketing, sales and HR skills. The client will train you on each step by step process and then when you feel confident and ready they will also train you to pick up your own clients.
