Rydon Maintenance Ltd now have an opportunity for a Gas Supervisor to join our south east based maintenance team. Overall, our gas team is responsible for providing gas/boiler repairs, boiler servicing and installations in domestic properties. We look after more than 9,000 residential properties across our portfolio. Based out of our office in Dartford you will take responsibility for supervising a team of domestic gas engineers across South and North London.

Job Purpose

As Gas Supervisor you will take responsibility for supervising a team of domestic gas engineers across South and North London ensuring they are working to correct standards set by Rydon and Gas Safe. Completing a range of monthly audits on WIP (work in progress), PC (post complete) & 1 DT (desktop) to ensure engineers are 100% compliant and working in line with current regulations. You will also be hands on and assist with carrying out installation of replacement boilers alongside the installation team members where required. As such, this opportunity allows the successful applicant the rare opportunity to continue to keep their experience current, whilst taking on management and supervisory duties.

Experience Required

The ideal candidate will demonstrate previous Gas Installation experience gained within a maintenance company responsible for domestic gas fired heating/hot water systems.

The successful candidate should have: –

• Domestic ACS accreditations and installation experience.
• A good working knowledge of the general, reactive repair, planned and preventative maintenance industry, ideally within social housing.
• Excellent all round customer service experience with the ability to deal with difficult situations and to resolve conflicts when required
• Experience of working on own or part of a Team, requiring a low level of supervision
• Awareness of current legislation, policies, procedures and best practice initiatives
