Interim Finance Systems Accountant PE Backed IT business Kent

Harmonic are delighted to be working exclusively with a rapidly growing IT infrastructure business to find them an Interim Systems Accountant to support them, with their transformation to Microsoft Dynamics 365. Our client is an innovative Scale-up who are challenging some of the big names in the industry with their B2B and B2C services. Located in Kent, they are looking for a candidate who can work on site, collaborating with the Group CFO and finance team.

The Role

This role will be centred around supporting the Group CFO as they look to make improvements to the newly implemented Microsoft Dynamics systems. Making suggestions on tools within the platform that can streamline reporting and optimise the usage of the system. The position will also work with the current finance teams to improve their knowledge of the system and train them to use the platform to its fullest capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Advise and facilitate the set-up of Microsoft Dynamics 365
• Assist with month end close on the new system.
• Be hands on with changes to the system
• Ensure all data has been correctly reconciled from the old system.
• Train the finance team on using the new platform.
• Support the Group CFO with testing new tools and processes.
• Ad-hoc tasks across the accounting function.

Essential Experience

• Qualified, Part-Qualified or QBE Accountant.
• A minimum of 1 years’ experience using Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Business Central)
• Good communicator who is able to train colleagues on using the new software.
• Hands on and an eye for detail.

Bonus Experience

• System migration or transformation experience.

Location: Canterbury, Kent (5 days per week in office)

Start Date: ASAP

Day Rate: £300-£400/day (Outside IR35)
