Paralegal – Family and Litigation

(Full-Time, Office-Based – Maidstone)

A well-established law firm is seeking a motivated and client-focused Paralegal to join its busy Family and Dispute Resolution departments. This is a full-time, office-based position located in Maidstone, offering a great opportunity to work within a friendly and supportive team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Attending client meetings and preparing detailed notes
• Opening and closing files in compliance with regulatory requirements
• Drafting legal documents, including applications and witness statements
• Time recording and assisting with billing processes
• Preparing and managing correspondence with clients and third parties
• Preparing electronic court bundles and booking counsel
• Conducting legal research and general administrative support
• Assisting fee earners with day-to-day tasks as required

Essential Skills & Experience:

• Qualifying law degree or a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a paralegal
• Strong administrative and organisational abilities with keen attention to detail
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and Adobe Pro
• Experience using case management systems
• Solid understanding of the Civil Procedure Rules and Family Procedure Rules
• Professional telephone manner and ability to manage multiple tasks under pressure
