We are working with a primary school based in Birkenhead to recruit an Early Years Foundation Teacher who will provide PPA cover for their EY team. This is a part time role, and applications can be accepted from people looking for 2 or 3 days a week, or 5 mornings.

Your new role
This EY PPA teaching job involves providing cover for teaching staff working across the EY age range from 2 yrs old – Reception class age children.

You will work with the team to ensure a seamless handover, and deliver engaging sessions for the children in your care based on a weekly timetable.
This role will start in September 2024, and will run for the Autumn term initially while the school gage whether this model of providing PPA support works within the foundation stage.

What you’ll need to succeed
To apply for this EY PPA role you will need:

• QTS or equivalent recognised teaching qualification
• Primary age teaching experience within the last 3 years that we can reference
• Experience of working with the EYFS curriculum would be an advantage
• Ability to adapt quickly to working with any age group from 2yr olds to working with the Reception class curriculum
• Excellent communication skills for working in this close team environment
• Excellent literacy and numeracy skills
