Estimator – Drylining

The ideal candidate would have previous experience in the Drylining industry.

Duties:

• Ensure that all estimating processes and procedures are followed

• Work with surveyors in preparation of quantified schedule of rates and bill of quantities.

• Prepare tender summaries and estimating handovers and attend start-up pre-price and price meetings

• Working alongside the Project Manager and other internal teams

• Ensuring that project profitability targets set at initial meetings are met.

• Capable of producing competitive cost plans

• Agree on contractual terms and conditions with the client

To estimate, process & prepare tender

Experience/qualifications:

·Estimating experience with a specialist drylining contractor or with a main contractor/developer working on large internals packages

·Excellent communication and time management skills

·Experience working on detailed tenders for drylining packages

·Design, cost planning and bid management skills

·Understand project risks and opportunities
