Where you’ll work: This role is based at North Kent College’s Hadlow campus.
Your hours: 42.5 hours per week, 52 weeks per annum, to be worked on a shift rota basis (earlies and lates) covering the hours of 6am – 7pm Monday to Friday. You will also be required to participate in an emergency out of hours on-call rota, which will require you to be on-call an average of one week in four.
Your pay: £26,763 per annum, plus an additional £100 for each week spent on-call for out of hours emergencies.

We are seeking to appoint an experienced and capable Estates Caretaker to join our friendly and proactive Estates team.
Reporting to the Assistant Estates Manager, the post holder will be responsible for routine safety checks, completed planned maintenance checks, furniture removal, events and exam set-ups, preparation of meeting rooms, and all portering duties.
You will need to be hardworking, enthusiastic, and trustworthy, with practical experience in general maintenance as well as a good level of practical DIY skills, together with working knowledge of health and safety.
The post holder will be expected to ensure that their work is completed in a timely manner and recorded, electronically via a PC, on the Estates Helpdesk.
If you have a full driving licence, are open to further skill-based training, have the ability to undertake full the demands of the role, and have excellent communication skills, then we welcome your application.
