Senior Quantity Surveyor vacancy with reputable design and build contractor. Are you an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor or an ambitious Quantity Surveyor who is capable of working independently on a residential new build project in excess of 200 units and circa £15 million.

Location: Kent (BR3)

Salary: £50,000- £60,000 depending on experience

With a reputation as a successful and reliable design and build company, our client has built an impressive portfolio of projects over the past 20 years and has a number of exciting projects in the pipeline, hence their expansion and requirement for new staff.

About the Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential new build contractor role:
The successful Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working from both the office and site (1-2 days per week). They will be working on a large residential development, (over 200 units)
The Senior Quantity Surveyor will be working independently and reporting back to the Commercial Manager weekly. Their responsibilities will include but not be exclusive of the following;
* Scoping tender packages
* Issuing sub-contractors for tender
* Lining up returns
* Negotiating accounts
* Monthly cost reporting
* Client valuations

Requirements for the Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential new build contractor role:
Skills: –
* Experience of working as an Senior Quantity Surveyor large residential projects
* Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* Experience on projects in excess of £5 million
* Excellent management and client relationship skills
* Excellent numerical and report writing skills
* Flexibility to working hours
* Knowledge of JCT forms of contract
* Ability to drive business forward. Build network and new clients

Qualifications: –
* BSc MCIOB or RICS or equivalent (desired)

Salary & Benefits for the Senior Quantity Surveyor – Residential new build contractor role:
Circa £50,000 – £60,000 plus excellent benefits
