Our large manufacturing client is currently looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their experienced team of engineers.

As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer your role will be to monitor, maintain and repair electrical components of production machinery. Working both proactively and reactively to minimise downtime and maximise efficient working time.

Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Responsibilities

• General maintenance duties, proactive and reactive maintenance
• Electrical testing & diagnostic checks
• Participate in trouble shooting and problem resolutions
• Continuous process improvements
• Ensure both written and verbal communication between shift changeovers, to ensure smooth handover
• Check the computer to make sure all lines are running
• Prioritise workload
• Installation work when required
• Identify improvements

Ideal Electrical Maintenance Engineer candidates will possess the following;

• Electrical Engineering qualification
• 17th or 18th edition
• PLC fault finding & ability to read schematic drawings
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems would be an advantage
• Previous experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Ability to use a CMMS system advantageous

As the Electrical Maintenance Engineer you will work a permanent continental shift of, 2days, 2nights, 4 off and earn a salary of up to £50,200.

All successful candidates will have a medical and DBS check.
