Avolon M&E are working with a client who are looking for an experienced Electrical Estimator to join a busy and successful team based at their Dartford office.

£65k Plus Package.

Reporting to the Estimating Manager, this role comprises but will not be limited to:

* Timely and accurate submission of tenders

* Preparing tenders for internal adjudications

* Vetting incoming tenders/offers from our supply chain and ensuring that the most viable offer is included within our submission.

* Arranging and chairing tender adjudication meetings and explaining to the attendees the project duration, costing approach and risks to the business

In order to be successful the candidate will have to be able to demonstrate:

* A team mentality

* Excellent communication and organisational skills

* High use of initiative

* Technical competence

* Risk Management competence

* Good experience working with Trimble Estimation software

* The ability to update the Estimation Database when required

Skills and Behaviours:

* Commercially astute, able to identify and manage risk and to anticipate issues that may affect costs and address them proactively

* An eye for detail and proven ability to work to tight deadlines

* Proactive and persuasive with the skills to assess better systems of work in order to advise and assist clients on systems that will save time and money

Experience and Qualifications

* Preferably qualified by apprenticeship or to C & G/ONC level

* Proven experience in a similar position with an M&E contractor or in the M&E division of a main contractor

* Proven ability to estimate costs and timescales accurately in order to meet deadlines
