Desktop Support Engineer (SC Cleared or BPPS) – 6 Month – Inside IR35 – Onsite Leiston

Are you ready to embark on a dynamic 6-month contract journey within a renowned energy company? We’re seeking a talented Desktop Support Engineer to join a dynamic team for a organisation based in Leiston. The role requires onsite presence five days a week. It falls under Inside IR35 regulations and requires candidates to have an active SC clearance/BPSS and a full, clean driving license.

As a Desktop Support Engineer, you’ll ensure seamless technical support and maintenance across our IT infrastructure, minimizing downtime and maximizing productivity. You’ll diagnose and resolve technical issues promptly, and contribute to the implementation and maintenance of IT infrastructure to meet operational and project needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Troubleshooting and resolving issues relating to networks, applications, software, hardware, VPN’s, Printers and mobile phones
• Monitoring Phones, emails, Microsoft Team chat for any incoming incidents
• Management of Win-10 devices (MMD – Microsoft Managed Devices)
• Unpacking and Repackaging of Laptop/Desktop Delivery and putting shipping label for delivery at users desk/home/another office as part of device handover/collection
• Building & deploying workstations (Laptops/Desktops) with the standard approved image
• Active Directory group management, account unlocks and password resets.

What you will Ideally Bring:

• Experience to troubleshoot issues on Windows 10 Operating systems
• Experience in configuring iPhone/iPad
• Creating or deleting ID’s for Joiner/Leaver/Mover on Azure portal
• Knowledge in new Microsoft Team creation in Teams admin portal
• L1 Support knowledge of Application & SharePoint
• L1 support troubleshoot office Apps.
• Knowledge on supporting conference room devices
• Knowledge on managing cloud printing

Contract Details:

• Duration: 6 months (View to Extension)
• Location: Leiston
• Day Rate: Up to £220 Per Day (Inside IR35)
• Start Date: ASAP
