ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking an ambitious and enthusiastic Design Engineer with EWI and design experience to support the specification design stage through the construction process. This role involves high customer interaction within a fast-paced and competitive market.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Handle daily inquiries for product, technical, and estimating support.
• Provide specification, estimating advice, and complex project detailing.
• Create CAD details, U-Values, and manage technical and pricing packages.
• Attend project design and pre-start site meetings.
• Manage technical aspects of project files and oversee the specification process.
• Advise on technical specifications and issue project documentation.
• Provide on-site technical assistance and resolve queries as needed.
• Ensure compliance with PAS2030/2035 guidelines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in building façades or related construction fields.
• Bachelor s degree in Engineering, Construction, or related discipline.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and general computer literacy.
• Strong understanding of construction methods, detailing, and regulations.
• Confident in reading and interpreting architectural drawings.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

MAIN DUTIES

• Manage incoming technical enquiries and advise on specifications.
• Issue project drawings, specifications, and calculations.
• Oversee projects from specification to on-site handover.
• Attend design meetings for major projects.
• Maintain and develop CAD standard details for all facade systems.
