We are recruiting for an engineering company based in Kent. Due to expansion they are now looking for a Design Draughtsman to join their design team. You must be able to produce rapid draughts and  can self check, use lots of common sense to not trust everything the computers tell you and are happy working on multiple contracts at a time.
 
The Role
Reporting to the design office manager, key responsibilities include:

• Producing manufacturing and installation drawings to relevant specifications and to a tight schedule.
• Liaising with customers for site details
• Implementing/assisting with improving existing systems.

The ideal candidate would have at least 5 years experience in a busy design drawing office, have excellent knowledge of Auto cad, be capable of working using own initiative and be a good problem solver. Stress analysis capabilities would be an advantage.
