The role: Day Concierge
Location: West London
Salary: 32,000 – 34,000
Hours: 12 hour shift – 4 days on/ 4 days off
The role is to support the front of house concierge team in the day-to-day operations of the lobby area. Provide a highly professional, friendly, and efficient service to all residents, ensuring a warm welcome, a memorable experience, and a seamless move-in process. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team in a new development opening!
Key Responsibilities:
Early Occupation Phase (during ongoing construction):
– Assist the Head of Department in ensuring a smooth move-in process for owners and residents.
– Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the lobby, front entrance, staircase, and lifts at all times.
– Help liaise with residents, contractors, designers, removal companies, managing agents, and other visitors.
– Strictly follow the apartment key policy and procedure.
– Ensure complete resident satisfaction by delivering a memorable and professional experience.
– Assist residents and porters in clearing boxes and waste following move-ins.
– Conduct regular building patrols to ensure the safety of residents and the premises.
– Support in establishing policies and procedures relating to service standards, Health and Safety, Building Safety, and resident relations.
– Carry out additional duties such as arranging PPE for visitors, assisting with luggage, and helping with furniture setup in communal areas.
Full Occupation Phase:
– Implement and manage services as defined by the Resident Operations Manager or General Manager.
– Handle assigned tasks and perform other reasonable duties as required.
– Provide accurate and up-to-date information to both residents and colleagues.
– Ensure effective shift handovers by giving and receiving detailed handover notes.
– Safeguard and manage pass keys in compliance with key policies.
– Attend meetings to ensure efficient communication within the team.
– Monitor arrival and departure schedules to anticipate and address visitor needs.
– Respond to resident and visitor enquiries, seeking assistance when necessary.
– Maintain and update the concierge software regularly.
– Attend all required Health & Safety and fire training sessions to comply with legal requirements.
– Promptly report any accidents, near misses, or hazards to your manager or supervisor.
– Be familiar with the fire policy and emergency procedures, including how to respond to an activation.
Requirements:
Relevant experience within luxury residential or hotel settings.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook.
Impeccable appearance and presentation.
Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
Passion for delivering high standards of personalised service with confidence and calmness.
Personable, empathetic, and warm with a conscientious attitude.
Able to anticipate needs and act on them.
Willingness to adapt and work flexible hours.
