Residential Property Conveyancer – Kent

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Residential Property Solicitor, Fee Earner, Conveyancer or Executive to join a dynamic team in Kent. This role offers the chance to manage a busy caseload of sale and purchase matters, handling both freehold and leasehold transactions. Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a busy caseload of sale and purchase matters from file opening to completion.
• Handle freehold and leasehold transactions with minimal supervision.
• Advise clients on legal matters and take detailed instructions.
• Prepare and obtain file documentation, ensuring accuracy throughout the process.
• Bill files and obtain payments due from clients and other parties.
• Provide delegated supervision to junior staff as required.
• Ensure compliance with firm procedures and accounts policies.
• Maintain legal knowledge and stay up-to-date with industry changes.

Key Skills and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience in a similar residential conveyancing role.
• Strong technical knowledge of conveyancing, with experience in both freehold and leasehold transactions.
• Proficient in Windows, Word, and Excel.
• Ability to communicate complex legal issues in a concise, customer-friendly manner.
• Excellent written and spoken English for handling client queries and preparing documentation.
• Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet deadlines.
• A client-focused approach, with a strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
