RecOps is partnered with a leading consultancy to secure a Contract Windows Infrastructure Engineer for their blue chip client. This role will be hybrid working with 2 days a week in Dover (Kent); this is on a 2 month initial contract, inside IR35 paying £375 per day. To be considered you must be eligible for SC Clearance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proficiency in Windows Server environments.
• High level of knowledge within Azure.
• TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, VPNs, VLANs
• SolarWinds monitoring tool.
• VMware vSphere, Azure VMWare Solution (AVS) and Hyper-V.
• Citrix Cloud.
• Backup – Tivoli, Azure and Veeam.
• Azure Costs Savings recommendations.
• DNS & SSL Certificates.
• Windows Patching/Vulnerabilities.
• Security Practices.
• Project work – Building and implementing new Servers, working with 3rd parties.
• Proactively checking the infrastructure call queue in Jira.
• Providing and keeping documentation updated (Confluence).
• Working with helpdesk and users on a day-to-day basis.
• Ability to diagnose and resolve infrastructure issues quickly and effectively
