One of Northern Ireland’s largest and most established construction companies is currently recruiting a Construction Planner to work within their Building Division.
Your new employer is recognised as a stalwart of the construction industry in Northern Ireland and has been operating for over 50 years with a spectacular portfolio of work throughout the UK & Northern Ireland.
With multiple new projects awarded recently, you will help plan and coordinate multiple million pound projects from inception to handover.

Joining the team, you will work on some newly awarded schools’ projects, primarily based in the head office here in Northern Ireland or working from home with some site travel required. This is an exciting new role for any candidate who is or who wants to be a Construction Planner and join a large planning team and avail of excellent working conditions. Happy to recruit at all levels, whether you are a Senior or Intermediate Planner or even come from another construction discipline but have experience working in planning. Duties and responsibilities will include;
Assist & prepare Tender Programme into Master Construction Programme Liaise with Senior Planner to finalise Master Programmes and produce section programmes as required Modify Master Programme to Mitigate against delays Advise Site Management of Programme Slippage Prepare Tender Programmes and Method Statements as required Assist in the preparation of project logistics and method statements Periodically review key projects to ensure programme compliance Establish, maintain and build good relations with clients as well as their representatives. To be successful in this position, you must be a highly motivated and career-minded individual who is seeking an opportunity with a contractor who can provide longevity and career development.
You must be contractually aware and technically proficient in using Construction Planning software. This contractor is using ASTA Powerproject.
You will have proven experience of managing information in an orderly fashion as well as previous experience in a similar role, as well as having the ability to work to tight deadlines. Travel will be required on a weekly basis, however, but this will be only 1 night at a time.
