As Compliance Consultant you’ll be working with one of our Compliance Managers to support Simplyhealth’s management of compliance risk when onboarding and monitoring introducer-appointed representatives to Practi, an exciting new addition to the Simplyhealth group. The role also supports the Compliance Manager in ensuring Simplyhealth meets its regulatory obligations as Principal, and provides advice to the business as needed.
Key responsibilities
• Ensure the business meets all relevant FCA regulatory requirements using regulatory knowledge and expertise.
• Horizon scanning activity
• Responsible for conducting onboarding checks on new dental practices, actively engaging with other business areas and key stakeholders where necessary.
• On-going monitoring and auditing of existing practice relationships.
• Preparing applications on FCA Connect system.
• Gathering data to be submitted on FCA RegData.
• Maintain a good, current knowledge of the regulatory environment and requirements, working with team to identify where change is necessary and providing guidance to the business where required.
• Provide day-to-day support to the compliance manager ensuring that onboarding issues are appropriately addressed and escalated.
• Develop and maintain good working relations in the business.
• Maintain compliance records and policies as required.
