We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Center Commissioning Manager to join an international Data Centre company. The Commissioning Manager will play a key role in the successful delivery of all commissioning activities, with a focus on MEP (mechanical, electrical, and plumbing) systems within data center environments. This position requires a strong background in commissioning engineering and an in-depth understanding of industry-specific engineering design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the commissioning process for MEP systems within data centers, ensuring they meet quality, performance, and sustainability standards.
• Write commissioning scripts from level 1-5
• Collaborate with project teams to develop commissioning plans, schedules, and budgets tailored to data center requirements.
• Conduct commissioning meetings, site inspections, and performance tests to verify system functionality and efficiency in data center environments.
• Identify and resolve technical issues related to MEP systems during the commissioning phase within data centers.
• Communicate with clients, contractors, and stakeholders to provide updates on commissioning progress and address any concerns specific to data center projects.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in MEP commissioning engineering within data center environments, with a deep understanding of industry-specific engineering design standards.
• Strong project management skills with the ability to lead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams focused on data center projects.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with clients and stakeholders within the data center industry.

Day-to-day

• Collaborating with design teams to integrate commissioning requirements into the project plans for data center facilities.
• Conducting site visits to verify the installation and functionality of MEP systems within data center environments.
• Preparing commissioning reports and documentation tailored to data center projects for project handover.
• Keeping abreast of industry trends and best practices in commissioning engineering within the data center sector.
• Mentoring junior engineers and supporting their professional development within the context of data center projects.
