Commercial Manager – Civil Engineering

This contractor is one of the country’s most successful Civil Engineering Contractors and has delivered some of the highest profile projects in the last few years from flood defence, utility and marine areas.

They are currently looking to recruit an experienced Civil Engineering Commercial Manager. The successful candidate will lead the Commercial Team on marine and coastal development with a value in excess of £80million. You will need to demonstrate knowledge of working as a Commercial Manager/Managing Quantity Surveyor on a broad range of Civil Engineering projects and will need to be proficient in all aspects of the NEC form of contracts. You will also need to be an excellent communicator and have a keen eye for detail. You will also need to demonstrate excellent man management skills as you will be one of the most senior personnel on this major project.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Commercial Manager/Managing Quantity Surveyor to join a very successful company and develop a career for themselves into Senior Management within a specified time, whilst working on a very high profile project.

A full living away from home subsistence package will be available if the successful candidate does not live within a daily commutable distance.
