A family owned Civil Engineering company that operates throughout the South East region has been awarded additional contracts leading to them seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic and highly motivated Commercial Assistant to join their team. The role involves providing administrative support to the Quantity Surveyors/Commercial Team, updating Excel Spreadsheets, liaising with relevant bodies regarding Permits, chasing payments, extracting measures and various administration duties as required.

You will:-

• Have administration/data input experience ideally within a construction/building merchant environment – highly desirable but not essential
• Educated to A Level standard preferably BTEC Level 3 in Construction
• IT literate with sound knowledge of Excel
• Good communication skills both written and verbal
• Highly motivated with a strong desire to achieve
• Full UK Drivers Licence & Car
• Good sense of humour
• Stable work history

This is a young commercial team and you will be provided with on-going training and support to progress into quantity surveying.

This is an excellent opportunity for a College/School leaver seeking a start within the Construction sector or someone with relevant experience looking for career development opportunities.
