Position Expectations

Working with the Asset Manager and asset team, this role will suit someone with prior CMMS Analyst and Document Controller experience. You will deliver the day-to-day activities of the asset team as well as supporting the continuous improvement of the asset management function.

You will be required to record and utilise asset data in ways that align with day-to-day operational functions and support the organisation to achieve its strategic objectives for assets.

Key Duties

• Provide tactical day to day administration duties to ensure the smooth running of the Document Management system and Asset Maintenance system
• Champion asset governance ensuring policy and process are followed
• Identify opportunities to improvements and feed these into asset management governance processes
• Compile and maintain asset information within the Document Management System and Maintenance System on a day-to-day basis
• May be required to get involved in configuring asset systems
• Produce system training manuals and deliver training to end users
• Maintain a strategy and system for managing all hardcopy data
• Responsible for the control and audit of all asset information across the AM systems
• Include frameworks for inspection and maintenance regimes, policy documentation, procedures and guidance notes, training information and training delivery

Skills and Experience

• Qualified to BTEC level 3, or A Level standard in Business, Engineering or IT related disciplines or equivalent experience
• Have a good understanding of the features and functionality of CMMS systems and Document Management Systems
• Possess good understanding of engineering asset management and document control
• Demonstrable track record managing large data sets to enable effective reporting, monitoring and governance activities
• Prior database management and configuration experience, with a good understanding data structures
• Good understanding of SQL (Structured Query Language)
• Advanced Excel skills
• Full driving licence
