Calibre Search are looking speak with ambitious Building Surveyors who would be interested in working for a well-respected & market leading multi-disciplinary construction consultancy that provides a comprehensive range of professional services in the housing sector.

This is a great opportunity for an intermediate level Building Surveyor to be part of a high skilled and established team based near Huddersfield.

The work will include a range of high-rise recladding/refurbishment, new build developments and estate regeneration projects all across the UK making this a varied role and a role which will heavily contribute you towards completing your APC.

Role/ Responsibilities:

• Undertake site inspections to check on progress
• Liaise with and supervise contractors and client project officers
• Assist with payment valuations
• Organise and manage site level meetings
• Quality control of contractor workmanship
• Health & safety compliance (CDM regulations)
• Project administration and management activities on behalf of our clients
• Handover inspections and preparing site reports.

Requirements

• RICS or CIOB accredited construction degree
• Wanting to become MRICS/MCIOB qualfied
• Post-qualification experience
• Proven site experience & providing similar services in your current role
• Confident communicator & experienced in client facing roles
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• A ‘self-starter’ able to be trusted to work with a high degree of autonomy & self-motivation.
• Full UK driving licence
