My client is a well-established, family run retail business with a reputation for outstanding customer service. Due to expansion, they are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager to assist with running their toys and gifts department.

They have an extensive range of high-end brands and are looking for a candidate who can be passionate about their products and looking after their valued customers. This role would suit a candidate with experience in a similar retail role as well as some management or team leader experience.

Assistant Manager Duties:

• Assisting management in the daily running of the department.
• Assisting management in the daily management of the staff.
• Additional duties include carrying out management and key holder tasks on a rota basis.
• Serving customers and maximising sales by providing excellent customer service.
• Selling a vast range of gift products that includes books, cards, gift items, cookware and toys.
• Providing help and assistance to customers and promptly dealing with any enquiries.
• Unpacking and displaying new stock in a creative and appealing manner.
