Our client is looking for an experienced and driven Account Manager who is looking for a role at a growing company with great progression opportunities.
Our client is at the forefront of cloud hosting technology. Our SaaS-based platform helps agency owners easily manage their website hosting and build recurring revenue through our platform.
In this role you will be working alongside our Senior Account Manager and reporting to our Head of Sales. You will be responsible for growing your accounts monthly recurring revenue through project support, consolidation and identification of new opportunities. A core part of the role involves building account growth plans for both existing and newly onboarded agencies.
This role is key to achieving success as a team and we’re looking for a driven individual, with excellent communication skills and the ability to be solution-oriented and resourceful.
This is a remote role, but you will need to be UK-based and be able to travel to our office in Hertford for training or meetings when required.
What you’ll need to succeed
Proven account management or sales experience
A commercial mindset that can match a company’s service with its clients’ problems
We’re a people-focused business so you’ll need a team and a collaborative mindset
Demonstrable experience in planning, qualification, detailed questioning, objection handling and closing
Familiarity with a CRM such as Pipedrive or sales tool equivalent
Comfortable dealing with C-level decision makers and business owners
Target-driven with proven experience of regularly hitting targets
A confident phone and meeting manner
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Solid computer skills
Interested in and with an understanding of IT and technology
Full UK Driving Licence
SaaS experience would be beneficial
Responsibilities
Account Management
Developing and implementing account growth plans
Grow our Platform MRR in line with personal and department objectives
Managing relationships with your customers
Maintaining accurate records of all sales activities
Attending company and client events
Accurately forecasting the next three months based on opportunities and pipeline stages
Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in events/networking
Collaboration
With the New Business team on handover and onboarding of new clients
With the Senior Account Manager on account plan implementation across our client base
Support the Marketing team at events
Working closely with our Customer Success Team on new client onboardings
Identifying areas for improvement within the sales cycle for existing clients and working with the Head of Sales to implement these
